Official Statement on the of Lifetime Membership

This is to officially inform that Mr. Janaka Bodhinanda Gunathilaka, who was a Member (Membership No. 13509) of the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress, has been engaged in activities contrary to discipline and improper conduct. Accordingly, in terms of the Constitution of the organization, it was unanimously decided at the General Assembly Meeting held on 31.01.2026 to cancel his Membership.

*** Therefore, please be informed that he is no longer a member of the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress and does not hold any position within the Congress at present. Any actions carried out using the name of the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress have no legal validity whatsoever. ***
