The All Ceylon Buddhist Congress, together with a team of specialist doctors from the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, has organized a medical camp for the villages of Kumbaloluwa and Niyangandora in the Kotmale Divisional Secretariat Division. This medical camp will be conducted by the specialist team of the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital on Sunday, 7th December 2025, at 9.30 a.m. in Kotmale. Arrangements have also been made, with the support of the staff of the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, to provide lunch for 500 residents of these villages.
In addition, a programme has been organized to distribute dry ration packs to 350 displaced families currently residing in the villages of Kumbaloluwa and Niyangandora.
Furthermore, a special programme will be held for the children displaced after losing their homes and belongings, offering gifts and engaging activities to uplift their spirits and provide emotional comfort and encouragement.
All these activities are being jointly organized by the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress and the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, with the full support and cooperation of the Kotmale Divisional Secretary, the Poodaluoya Police Station, and the Grama Niladhari Officers of the respective areas.
